SUNDAY MARCH 25, 2012 BOSTON - ANAHEIM ST LOUIS - PHOENIX

SUNDAY MARCH 25, 2012 BOSTON - ANAHEIM

Ducks: Anaheim will be seeking its third straight win Sunday night. The Ducks are coming off an impressive 4-3 victory against the top-seeded St. Louis Blues last Wednesday night at the Honda Center. It was the first of a three-game homestand for Anaheim, which is 11 points out of a playoff spot with just seven games remaining.

"I don't think at any point we've just thrown in the towel," coach Bruce Boudreau said. "It's the same as the season. We were dead and buried in December and January. We're still not eliminated yet. We are just going to keep playing as hard as we can and hopefully win the last seven games."

Coyotes: On Thursday, Phoenix returned home after a four-game trip to face Colorado, another team battling for the final playoff place. The Coyotes jumped out to a 3-0 lead after two periods, then weathered a late Colorado rally for a 3-2 win. Phoenix was back on the road Saturday in San Jose, yet another matchup with playoff implications. For the second straight game, Daymond Langkow opened the scoring, but the Sharks matched the Coyotes at every turn, eventually forcing overtime. The extra period went scoreless, and San Jose sealed a 4-3 win with two shootout conversions.
